Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion in Photography

A Message for You on Diversity and Inclusion

A Safe Space for All Families in these Challenging Times

Diversity is the cornerstone of our existence. While it has always been something to celebrate, it is currently being challenged. Human beings of different ethnicities, religious backgrounds, and sexual orientations are finding themselves scared and unsure of their future. In 2025, it feels crazy to have to acknowledge, but I wanted to firmly let you know where I stand.

The foundation for my photography is a celebration of humanity. It is a love letter to all of the ways we choose to live, love, and feel. To me, it has been obvious that everyone would feel welcome, accepted, and safe when coming to a photo session (or anywhere!). But I know the reality is not what we think to be true. It nothing short of heartbreaking that anyone can feel “less than” in this country.

To be clear, every human being has a safe place with me. Good photography needs an element of vulnerability. How can I expect people to open up, if they don’t feel comfortable? My ultimate goal is to create an open place, where everyone feels free to be themselves.

Every person deserves to remember their one beautiful life. Whether it is your first pregnancy, new baby, or growing family, every life is beautiful and worth celebrating! Rest assured, you have a safe place behind my lens. I make it my priority for every person to feel seen and heard.

These are challenging times for sure, and at times can feel really hard. It can feel like the progress we made is being erased and we are going backwards. We must stick together and remember that love always wins! So, let’s use art as therapy and celebrate all the love together!

Welcome

I wholeheartedly believe in the power of authentic documentation. Our stories and truths are not only a gift for ourselves, but also through the generations, becoming treasured keepsakes as proof of our place and time. My passion lies in storytelling that focuses on your present moments. Whether our adventures take us deep into the Hudson Valley, high in the Catskill Mountains, or within the comfort of your home, it is always about where you are meant to be and where you feel the most alive.
