A note about embracing the moment, and knowing when to give yourself those much needed physical and mental breaks

Anyone feeling a little overwhelmed lately? Maybe a little down about current events, and how it’s affecting our daily lives? Kids or no kids, married or single, old or young- no one can escape the heaviness of current events and living life during a global pandemic. On a personal level, 2020 was the year I planned to launch a business- hows that for timing!? I’m always drawn to one of my favorite quotes in times like this: “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.”

Take those extra moments with your family. Rest when you need it. Give yourself patience and grace. Take things one day at a time. We are all doing the best we can given our circumstances. Some days, we may feel on top of the world, and other days, it may feel like we are failing miserably. I certainly feel it raising two small kids, that are starting to ask a lot of questions, that I’m not quite sure how to answer.

I want my business to thrive and succeed more than anything, and I can’t wait to meet all of you and build my client base with people who value the importance of memory making! I have also recognized when I need to rest and give my time and attention to family, who need me so much right now. And I surely need them. So if you see me quiet on social media, or not posting photos for a while, its because I have shifted some attention to my family. Rest assured, I am still prioritizing and taking new clients all the time! I want to learn about your stories, what makes your heart beat a little faster. But social media can get heavy. And a little break from that, I don’t think is the worst thing!

Let’s take comfort in the important things in our lives, hold our blessings so very close to our hearts, and never take one minute of life for granted.

I am sending light and love to each one of you

Welcome

I wholeheartedly believe in the power of authentic documentation. Our stories and truths are not only a gift for ourselves, but also through the generations, becoming treasured keepsakes as proof of our place and time. My passion lies in storytelling that focuses on your present moments. Whether our adventures take us deep into the Hudson Valley, high in the Catskill Mountains, or within the comfort of your home, it is always about where you are meant to be and where you feel the most alive.
