Unique, Fun, and Natural Family Photography In The Hudson Valley
Natural family photography is the center of my business. I have always been drawn to authentic and candid scenes. Photos of people and places without knowing they were being photographed. It is an intriguing concept, but also hard when you also want to have a quintessential holiday card photo! When I began dreaming up how my business would look, I wanted to give families all of that. I wanted to give them authentic and creative imagery, but also mixed with traditional captures. Every family is different, and I love customizing sessions to your vision.
When you initially inquire, I have a comprehensive booking guide that I share with you. This will give you all the info about working with me and what to expect. If we decide we are the right fit for each other, you will get loads more prep info after booking! I want you to feel taken care of throughout the whole process. One important part of my pre planning process is my family questionnaire.
The family questionnaire is great for both of us. It gives you the chance to tell me all about your family! What makes your family stand out? Personality traits about your kids? Do you have any reservations about the session? Is there anything unique or special that you want to share with me? I love going through what you write to me.
I read through everything, and again right before our session. It makes me feel like I know you a bit before we even meet. While each session has a similar flow, each one also takes on a life of it’s own, and I love embracing that uniqueness.
I understand it is not always the most comfortable thing to have someone you don’t know take your picture! I try my best to make things easy and comfortable for you, which helps us create some pretty amazing, fun, and true images. Each family I meet is so interesting and different, and I love highlighting your individuality during our time together. I work primarily in the Hudson Valley and NYC areas, but always up for an adventure! I would love to meet you!
