Photography Collections that Reflect the Holidays from Stephanie Lozano
Bottling Up Traditions and Nostalgia for Your Family’s Memories
Home For the Holidays photography collections came about from a love of nostalgia, and a personal desire to remember the magic of the holidays through my kids. Three years ago, I decided to bring to families the same type of documentation that I did for my own family.
The thought of centering it around the home was always the vision. Of course coming out of COVID, it seemed like the obvious spot. But also, our homes hold so many memories, and home is our safe place. Being able to meet you and your family there meant a lot to me in how I shaped these sessions.
Each year, I find myself enjoying these sessions more and more. They are a special kind of documentation. They are laidback, comfortable, genuine. It is not the same kind of planning involved as a regular family session. If you think these may be for your family, here is what you need to know!
Because I personalize these sessions to each family, and only schedule one per day, space is limited. They are offered exclusively to families who have booked a session with me within that calendar year. Timeline is typically at the end of November into early December, and turnaround time is 4 days max. I want to be sure you have all of your images in time for holiday cards!
These sessions are meant to encompass a special tradition or activity that you love to share with your family, perhaps one that has been passed along throughout the years. This year, we did holiday stories, gingerbread houses, and opening presents under the tree! The possibilities are endless! Sessions are shorter than a typical full collection, at 30 minutes and designed to be a snapshot of holiday magic through your kids.
So, if we get to work together next year, keep your eyes out for holiday scheduling emails! They are typically sent at the beginning of September. I would love to see what unique traditions are special to your family!
