Hudson Valley Family and Newborn Photographer
Stephanie Lozano Photography
With this year making us re evaluate how we interact with the people around us, I wanted to write a note about considerations of getting newborn photos done. I currently offer two options for newborn photos- Fresh 48 in hospital, and at- home newborn.
With COVID still a concern, and hospitals still exercising much caution, in hospital sessions are more challenging than ever. At this point, if it is still something you would like, I would check with your specific hospital to see what their policy is. I will perform a Fresh48 session, but I am offering them on a limited basis, as well as shortening the time I will be spending in the hospital room. Hospital photos are beautiful, and I still want to offer this as a possibility, however, modifications have to be made to ensure everyone’s safety. I will take on these sessions on a case by case basis.

At this time, in home sessions are the best way to commemorate the arrival of your little one! They are personal, customized, and safe. We stay in the spaces of your own home. If you feel uncertain allowing me to come into your space, I totally understand! I do all of my sessions with a mask and perform thorough handwashing, however, being that it is summer and we have some beautiful weather upon us, I can absolutely customize a gorgeous outdoor newborn session for you. During this time, I am flexible with location, so let’s chat and come up with a perfect way to honor your little one’s arrival.
Below are some modifications that I am making:
-
Only immediate family for every photo session
-
Use of masks by photographer at all times
-
Thorough handwashing upon arrival and prior to departure
-
Two sessions, max, per week.
-
Equipment cleaned prior to every session
My goal is to make your experience memorable, but also safe and within safety guidelines and procedures. Please reach out to discuss how we can customize your session to meet your family’s needs, and for any questions or concerns.
