How to Have a Successful Session with your Four Legged Friends
Whenever clients tell me that they have pets, and they want them included in photos, I get so excited! There is really nothing better than documenting that bond between a pet and their family. I love to know about any pets going into our session, so that I can give tips to my clients to give us the best chance of success! Some of my best advice:

Have treats or a toy on hand to give an incentive to your pet to get into the frame.

Exercise and/or keep pet happy before our shoot- Feed them, run them around so that they are more inclined to behave and be relaxed for our session.

Be patient and spontaneous- great shots can happen at any moment, so be ready and engaged with your pet during the session

Communicate ahead of time with your photographer any pertinent info about your pet- behavior considerations, favorite commands, etc!
