Indoor winter family sessions are cozy, full of emotion, personalized, and more casual. These are just a few reasons why I love doing them! They offer a more intimate, real life look into your story.
Our special moments don’t stop in the winter. Babies are born, families go through milestones, and moments are there in front of us to remember. Winter indoor sessions feel more laidback and organic. What makes these truly unique is that they are centered around specific activities that have meaning for your family. Nothing has to be staged, but rather it is meant to be a genuine look into your real life. I like to think of these as a time capsule of the ordinary magic of your present moments.
Simple activities like kids jumping on the bed, playing a game, or baking together make beautiful lifestyle art. For families that are drawn to finding the magic in ordinary moments and are nostalgic for their home environment, these may be the right fit for you. Of course you can absolutely glam these up, but if you appreciate more casual photographs, these also may be the right fit for you.
During the planning process, I will get to know more about your family and any vision you may have for your photos. We can come up with some activities that have meaning for your family, or simply I can follow your family around the house for an hour! Great photographs are truly made with a focus more on the moment, and less overthinking.
