Creating a memorable “From Bump to Birth” experience
Pregnancy and newborn photography are my most asked about sessions. Stemming from my NICU nurse background, connecting with families over these milestones is so incredibly special for me. When I first started, these were offered as two separate offerings. As time went on, I realized how many women appreciated the comprehensive documentation. I decided to make a collection offering called “From Bump to Birth.”
From Bump to Birth is not just digital photography. It was important for me to also offer a tangible keepsake for these once in a lifetime milestones. Each collection includes one maternity experience, one newborn experience, and a custom designed heirloom album upon completion.
The maternity experience is especially unique, because I have two different experiences to choose from. You have the choice of either an outdoor golden hour, or an intimate style indoor session. This gives women a chance to choose how they want to remember their pregnancy, and not feel boxed in. Each collection is the same yet different; both celebrate your body and baby, with different ways in which doing so.
Newborn collections can either be done in the hospital within the first 48 hours from birth, or at home. The majority of families opt for the home experience, with varying timelines. Again, I leave the flexibility and scheduling up to you here. Some women feel great after birth, while others prefer to wait a few weeks. Each session maintains a focus on your connection with your family and your baby, and centers around natural newborn photography.
I love the albums we make at the end! These were curated by me, after trialing different companies. The albums are all handcrafted, designed to last a lifetime. You pick your favorite photographs, and I do all the design. You can approve everything before I send it off to production. There are many custom options, so the album truly reflects the heart of your family, and this incredible experience!
