Best Locations and Elements To Incorporate a Springtime Feel
Spring is right around the corner, and it is the perfect time spend more time outside, enjoying milder weather. Spring also happens to be when outdoor photography picks up, and it is easy to see why. If you are wanting to capture the season in your photography, I have some helpful tips to share!
- Choose a picturesque outdoor location- beautiful light always helps create beautiful photos! And with more light in our days come spring, choosing a place to highlight light will add warmth to your photos
- Think about the elements of the season- blossoms, flowers, budding trees, and capturing life in nature are all beautiful ways to illustrate the season in photos.
- Choose outfits that lend to a lighter, effortless look. When spring is in the air, we all feel a little lighter on our feet, right? We just came through winter, and there is no denying those first warm days really lift our moods! Choose outfits that are flowy, light and airy.
- Keep in mind colors- neutrals, and lighter tones (think blues, pinks, and purples) help illustrate the season. Especially if you are photographing near flowers, choose colors that will complement your backdrop.
I love recommending combing through sites like Pinterest, that can help you see what styles you are drawn to for springtime images. Some of my favorite locations include gardens and orchards, because I really feel like they highlight the new life of spring.
